If you’re like a lot of people, when somebody asks you where you want to eat, your brain feels emptier than your stomach. Uh, I don’t know, Chipotle? We’ve all been there, but during the month of August, you’ll finally have an excuse to try all of that cool local cuisine that New Orleans is famous for.
COOLinary New Orleans
From August 1–31, COOLinary New Orleans offers locals and tourists alike the chance to broaden their pallet and try a multi-course meal at some of the city’s best restaurants. Think of it as a month-long warm up for NOLA Restaurant Week in September. Specials are offered at more than 80 restaurants across New Orleans, including prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus. The best part about these custom-crafted offerings is that they often feature appetizers, unusual sides, and desserts. No need to skip out this month! Did we mention that brunch is an option this year, too? Switch up your Sunday spot and indulge in a three-course brunch at Café Adelaide. Specials vary weekly, so check back often to see where the best deals are.
Three’s company, but 80 different choices can be just plain overwhelming when you’re already hangry! We’re here to help with a list of top picks for 2017’s COOLinary celebration.
